Explain this...

I live in a country where it is not a problem to smoke marihuana, but only if it's pure!!

My friend introduced two girls from Brazil last night. They told me they just loved Amsterdam, because it's just what they expected: everybody is so open-minded, parties are wild and they felt very free. A bit strange for them, though, smoking was not allowed inside the bars and clubs. One of the girls was a bit bothered that she had to go outside in the cold every time she wanted to smoke a cigarette. Now she asked me how they do this in the coffeeshops.

So I had to explain her that it is allowed to smoke cannabis in a 'shop', but tobacco is forbidden. Since the smoking ban effective since the 1st of July, we cannot smoke tobacco in bars, restaurants, clubs and... coffeeshops! This means that you can buy and roll a joint, but at the moment you put tobacco in it, you have to take care not to get caught...

She just didn't understand. Maybe it was the linguistic barrier.
